Unit Price & Bulk-Buy Comparison
Unit Price & Bulk-Buy Comparison lets you compare unit prices and required-quantity totals across differently sized products in your browser.
Points & Rewards Calculator lets you calculate a repeated-use model's discount equivalent, estimated price, and theoretical balance-maintaining point limit in your browser.
Reward points commonly offered by retailers are not equivalent to a cash discount at the advertised rate. Enter the purchase amount, reward rate, and point value to estimate the effective discount and price after all earned points are eventually used. You can also see how many points could theoretically be used without reducing your balance, plus the price and difference for an equal-rate cash discount.
⌂ Inputs and results stay in this browser and are not automatically stored or sent.
To compare points with an equal-rate cash discount, check currency, purchase amount, reward rate, and point-to-money ratio. Locale defaults are reference examples; replace them with your own conditions.
Effective price assumes ongoing use of every earned point at face value, not today's checkout payment. Balance-preserving points are theoretical too; item-level rounding, redemption minimums, current balance, and store caps are not reproduced.
Enter the purchase amount, reward rate, and point value to calculate the effective point discount, estimated effective price, and points usable without reducing the balance. The rate represents monetary value and accepts up to four decimal places.
This calculation assumes all earned points are later used at face value and shopping continues under the same conditions. The “effective price” is not the amount paid at checkout for this purchase.
Your balance and store minimums, redemption units, and caps are not considered. The theoretical points limit is not a guarantee that you can redeem those points.
Under the model where no rewards are earned on the amount paid with points, a reward rate r has an effective discount equivalent of r/(1+r). A reward rate is not the same as an equal cash discount.
The sustainable maximum is the greatest valid integer redemption for which points earned after redemption are at least the points used. The calculator derives the valid step from the conversion and searches it exactly.
Locale defaults are calculation examples. Membership, eligible items, minimum purchases, caps, tax, program-specific rounding, expiry, limited-time points, and future changes are not reproduced.
The defaults are calculation examples based on selected terms from representative rewards programs available in each language region. The first item in each section is the primary reference; later items use a similar earning model.
Terms on the same site can vary by reward type, product, membership tier, payment method, and promotion. This calculator does not fully reproduce reward rates, earning units, rounding, caps, exclusions, or posting schedules. Check each service's official guidance and checkout screen for the actual terms.
This calculator references the model in which redeemed Gold Points are deducted from the tax-inclusive price and rewards are earned on the remaining amount. The 10% rate is a calculation example; actual rates vary by product and conditions.
No new Bic Points are earned on the amount paid with Bic Points, and no points are added when the full amount is paid with points.
Other reward programs at the same retailer, such as Rakuten Points or d POINT, may use different terms.
For eligible Prime Visa or Amazon Visa purchases where points cover part of the order, this calculator references the model in which rewards are earned only on the remaining amount charged to the card.
This is a credit-card rewards example, not a retailer's own points program. Eligibility, qualifying purchases, card benefits, and reward rates are not reproduced.
The portion paid with Walgreens Cash or store credit earns no new Walgreens Cash; the remaining eligible payment amount is the basis for rewards.
Eligibility rules based on product, location, promotion, and other conditions are not reproduced.
Points are calculated from the purchase price after discounts and credits, and points may be used to reduce the purchase price of eligible products.
Membership tiers, redemption units, exclusions, services, taxes, shipping, and other conditions are not reproduced.
The reference is a past rules revision notice. This calculator uses its model of awarding JD Beans based on the amount actually paid for the item.
The notice awards beans equal to 5% of the numeric amount paid for computers, appliances, mobile phones, and digital products, and 10% for other products. At 100 beans = CNY 1, their monetary values are 0.05% and 0.1%, respectively.
This calculator does not reproduce the minimum purchase, calculation in CNY 10 units, the cap of 1,000 beans per item, redemption in 1,000-bean units, or the 50% payment cap. Displayed point counts do not indicate JD Beans that can actually be redeemed in the store.
Amounts discounted with coupons, red packets, gift codes, Mi Gold, and similar methods are excluded; Mi Gold is calculated from the item amount actually paid with cash, bank card, or another eligible method.
The official rule awards Mi Gold equal to 10% of the numeric amount actually paid, but this calculator does not reproduce calculation in CNY 10 units, minimum purchases, the 1,000 Mi Gold cap per item, eligible items, or other conditions.
Eligible mo店+ items offer 3%, 5%, or 10% in mo coin rewards. Rewards are based on the actual amount spent after deductions such as free-shipping vouchers and mo coins.
This calculation example uses 3%. The official explanation rounds fractional rewards to the nearest integer, while this calculator rounds earned points down, so results can differ when fractions occur.
Shopee Coin rewards are calculated from total spending after product discounts, coupons, and redeemed Shopee Coins are deducted.
Voucher types, eligible items, reward rates, caps, posting schedules, and other conditions are not reproduced.
Npay's official guidance distinguishes a 1% base purchase reward from additional membership rewards. This calculation example references only the base purchase reward.
Membership benefits, detailed point-use conditions, eligible stores and products, caps, and other terms are not reproduced.
Some L.POINT campaigns exclude amounts paid with L.POINT from benefits.
This is not a universal rule for all L.POINT use; it is a condition of an individual campaign. Campaign-specific eligibility and caps are not reproduced.
